Local seafood experts from the Cove’s best restaurants: Fishlips, Grills, Milliken’s Reef and Rusty’s will collaborate to present an array of seafood to be offered by their Cove Merchants Association.
Gregory Firestone’s Golden Gate seafood will present 150 feet of seafood choices including superbly prepared Crawfish, Crab legs, Alligator, Calamari, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Seafood Boil and more.
British Fish and Chips specialists, Union Jacks, will present fresh fish, fried to order, with chips, English style, to satisfy that hankering for the great British delicacy.
Richard Cockerel’s, What’s The Catch, seafood team will present KeyWest Grilled Grouper, Island Shrimp, Pan seared Ahi Tuna and more.
Kevin Townsend’s Cousins Maine Lobster seafood crew will offer Maine and Connecticut Lobster Roll,Cousins Lobster Tacos, Lobster Quesadilla, Maine Lobster Tail, Shrimp Tacos and Lobster Bisque.
Will Darby of Willy T’s Crab Shack loves cooking crab and will proudly offer his awesome Crab Cake Sandy, Crab Minis, Fried Shrimp Baskets, Fried Clams Baskets, Chilled Crab Salad 8.99 and his famous Broccoli slaw.
David French and his group called Hammerheads from Tampa will offer Seafood Jambalaya, Sautéed Scallops, Grouper Fingers, Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp Scampi, Fried Oysters and a awesome Seafood Platter.

Cocoa Beach Chamber Chowder Champs will be featured
The winners of the annual Chowder Cook- Off, organized by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber Of Commerce, will be featured seafood vendors during the festival. This year’s Chowder Cook-Off will be held Thursday, February 4th.
Be sure to try the terrific chowder from the People’s Choice Winner, The People’s Choice Twist Winner, The Judges Choice Winner and from The Judges Choice Twist Winner. The defending champs from 2015 will once again vie for the trophies and bragging rights:

WORLD CLASS MUSIC ALL WEEKEND:
Musical artists to appear, include multi-million selling country music mega-star Clint Black – the singer-songwriter in the black hat, who has followed the sounds of Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson to an essentially permanent home on the Billboard country charts, where he’s scored 22 No. 1 hits.
Dirty Heads, who champion peace and positivity, are a punk-rap-reggae outfit, who summon the spirit of Sublime and their native Huntington Beach in groove-driven hits such as “Lay Me Down,” “Cabin by the Sea,” and “My Sweet Summer.”
Reggae legends, The Original Wailers, formed by Bob Marley’s former lead guitarist Al Anderson and Junior Marvin of the Wailers Band, the Grammy-nominated reggae outfit dives into laid-back grooves including “Blackbird,” “Justice,” and “Our Day Will Come.”
Third World are another reggae legend, who are known world-wide for their sound influenced by soul, funk and disco. Third World’s greatest success came in the late 1970s and early 1980s, peaking with their cover version of The O’Jays‘ “Now That We Found Love” from their third album Journey to Addis, a hit single on both sides of the Atlantic in 1978.
The Supervillains, the Florida-bred swamp reggae rockers will open for Dirty Heads on Friday, November 26. Known for bending genres, these hard chargers have been influenced by The Suicide Machines, Sublime, Operation Ivy, Nofx, The Skatalites,The Toasters, Peter Tosh, Lee Scratch Perry, Weezer, The Beatles, Pantera and The English Beat.
Kash’d Out, a reggae/rock band from Orlando, Florida, featuring songwriters and producers from Sound Lounge Studios (Ballyhoo!, Tribal Seeds, Resinated, Kayavibe), will open the concert with The Supervillians and Dirty Heads.
Rising stars Charee White followed by Janna Ivey will open the Clint Black concert on Saturday, February 27 on The Space Coast Daily Stage.
INCREDIBLE MUSICAL TALENT FROM FLORIDA TO PERFORM ON THE WRRJ STAGE
Some of the best and most loved central Florida bands, set to appear on the WRRJ 89.7FM Waterfront Stage at the 2016 Port Canaveral Seafood and Music Festival are:
Heritage Band, who rose from the back-yards of Okaloosa, Florida, to deliver an energetic and positive show that will move all.
Lights Out Project generates all-original Island Fusion Music, mixing urban rhythms, island beats, conscious lyrics and eclectic melodies infused with dancehall vibes.
Funkle Fester has a knack for getting the crowd hooked right from the beginning. Combining a deep funk base with some Jazz and Latin infusion they have created one of the most unique sounding bands around.
Part One Tribe Formed in 1995, by singer/ guitarist Rob D, Part One Tribe celebrates it’s 20-year anniversary with the recent release of their 8th studio album, the DO IT RIGHT ep, available now on itunes.
Now tapping deeper into their love for reggae music, hip hop and blues, Part One Tribe is at the top of their game, sparking interest from fans all over the country and across the seas to Europe and Australia.
Cotta is a rock reggae performer from Melbourne Florida. Formerly the front man for Fresh Squeeze as well as a member of Island ties, In 2015 Cotta started his own project writing recording and performing his music.
General Eyes, is a four-piece band based out of Cocoa Beach, Florida. With incredible vocals on top of a tight blend of feel-good rock-reggae, skankin’ ska, mixed with a touch of punk, every crowd is pleased by their performance.
Coastal Breed, plays to give people hope and inspiration, expressing themselves through their unique style of music. Formed in 2012 as a house party band, they have quickly moved up to a professional level, sharing the stage with Bands such as, Pepper, Ballyhoo, Collie Buddz, G Love and Special Sauce, Afroman, and many more. Coastal breed is a 4 piece power house, notorious for packing out venues.
Recognized as one of the top country music bands in Brevard, Smokin Country Band brings a mix of music to country music fans all over the region.
JOIN THE PIRATES PARADE AND PARTY
The Brethren of the Space Coast Pirates Krewe led by “Rosalie the Red” and “Captain Cranky” Jason Outlaw of Outlaw Pottery, in association with Gary of MadHatter Promotions, will present the “Pirates Parade and Party.”
The Pirates Stage will feature entertainers like The Kindred Kilts and much more.
Mad Hatter Promotions offers cutting edge parties, pub crawls & unadulterated fun. All pirates in costume will rally in front of the Pirates stage next to the Exploration Tower beginning at 2 p.m. and the Pirates Parade will begin at 3 p.m.
The other three regional pirate crews of Thee Leviathan, Pirate Ship Calypso and The Brethren of the Nine will also be represented at the festival. Mad Hatter Promotions will conduct the Pirate Costume Contest beginning at 4 pm from the WRRJ Stage.
Look out for the highly entertaining Captain Red, with one of the finest pirate costumes in the state of Florida
Check out the pirate sword fighting demos, the roaming pirate troubadours Kalie and Rickey, the enticing pirate belly dancers and fun pirate balloon artist all at The Pirate Stage next to the Exploration Tower.
Wave to the costumed Pirates in the parade, catch some beads and dubloons from the Pirate Ship crew and Meyers Manx Dune Buggy as they parade along Mullet Drive inside the festival.
The Official Pirate Party Bash will start after the parade at the Pirate Stage. Enjoy free samples of Code Rum, the Official Rum Supplier of the festival,

SHARKS ON DISPLAY
The only traveling Shark Encounter exhibit in the USA will wow the crowds during the three-day Port Canaveral Seafood & Music Festival extravaganza.
The Exposition will be featured in the Shark Experience Pavilion, which features a specially designed aquarium that holds several sharks and divers at the same time.
There will be three free shows on Friday, Feb. 26, and four free shows each day on Saturday and Sunday. The show and exhibit are free with festival admission and combine education and entertainment – along with a few surprises for the audience.
GREAT AND AFFORDABLE TICKET PRICES
Seafood Festival daily tickets are $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the event. A three-day, Weekend Festival only ticket is just $18, which is good for three days of access to the festival.
Festival only tickets do not include concert admission.
Individual Concert ticket prices start at $26.50 for General Admission for one concert. A special Weekend Concert General Admission ticket is just $57 and is good for all three days of concerts and 3 days of access to the festival. All concert tickets also include Seafood Festival access.
Concert tickets are required for The Space Coast Daily Stage concert performances. All the entertainment on the WRRJ 89.7FM Stage is included with general festival admission for $10 (advance) or $15 (day of event).

At 5 pm parking is $10 at parking areas next to the Exploration Tower. $5 parking will be available all the time during the festival at the Port Authority Maritime building and at the Autoport parking lot across from the Maritime center. VIP parking next to the main entrance is $15 per car. Handicapped parking is available at the Exploration Tower for $5 per car.
